Morro 16 is a vibrant samba ensemble (‘bloco’) based in Dublin, Ireland. Their signature style of samba is ‘batucada’, typically played at carnival in Rio de Janeiro and other cities around Brazil. Their live percussive performances are infectious, bringing the energy, rhythm and vibe of Rio carnival to the streets & clubs of Ireland.
