Entry for the Emerging Talent Competition opened at 9am today Monday January 18th and closes at 5pm next Monday January 25th. Entry for the Glastonbury Emerging Competition is open to all UK and Ireland based acts of any genre and gives the winning band the opportunity to play on one of the festivals main stages.
Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis has revealed that the festival will feature more female-led acts this year. The move comes as the festival circuit comes under criticism for its perceived lack of gender equality.
