Guidelines for Submitting Material to Kikked!

Initial Submission

Photos

  • A selection of photos, average 6-10, but no set limit.
  • Photos can be any format, but JPG or PNG is preferred.
  • Size and resolution are not as critical for online viewing, so no set restrictions. Use your own judgement, it should still look good viewed at full screen.
  • If your work has titles, please name the photos with the corresponding title.

Text

  • A piece of text, e.g. biography, artist statement, background text on the included photos, etc.
  • Please do not send CV´s, they will not be used.
  • Any other relevant press material you want us to consider.

Extra

  • Web site URL´s you would like included
  • Any other information relevant to the publication dates of the magazine, (e.g. February-April for Kikked! 8 )

If we follow up with additional info, e.g. an interview, then we will let you know in plenty of time.

Video Submissions

  • Up to 10 minutes in length.
  • Most formats are usable, but MOV, AVI, or MP4 are preferred.
  • They should be original works, and you should have permission to use any material in the video.

How to Submit

Text and photos can be sent via email. If sending a collection of photos, please zip them first. Also, do not send emails larger than 10Mb.

Video can be submitted in several ways :

  • FTP upload direct to Kikked! (individual, needs to be arranged with me first)
  • file sharing sites like YouSendIt, MegaUpload, etc.
  • direct download from Vimeo
