Bio
Delrevés, vertical dance company, founded in Barcelona by Saioa Fernández and Eduardo Torres, began its artistic career in 2007. Eduardo, after his physical trajectory in the martial arts, develops an interest in contemporary dance and later he specialises in vertical dance. Saioa, graduated in performing arts at the Drama School, BAI, in Bilbao and at Leeds Metropolitan University (United Kingdom). She chooses this new discipline after an artistic journey in both theatre and contemporary dance.
Coming both from different backgrounds in performing arts, their main objective is to create a fusion between its various artistic languages; contemporary dance, digital arts, theatre and vertical dance, using architecture as our support of movement. They start a physical investigation that we change into a vertical plane; working on the new possibilities that vertical dance offers us. Delrevés´ intention is to carry the spectator into a parallel world, a magical world, where gravity does not exist and flying is possible.
Their performances focus on theatre and dance festivals, or every kind of event that needs a vertical work, Delrevés uniquely adapts every performance to the architectonic circumstances of every new space. Vertical dance converts the urban space into a public stage. Creating an ephemeral intervention in the street where an occasional bypasser becomes the spectator.
Delrevés´ choreography is live, supported both musically and audiovisually. Counting with the original works of composer Aurelien Rotureau,(www.izorel.com), the music is played by himself, together with the cellist Nuria Soldevilla. Aurelien´s work bases in a mix of electronic and live music. The audiovisual creation of the company is made and performed by the professionals Xuban Intxusti and Diego Dorado (www.vimeo.com/srdorado).

Guateque is a multidisciplinary project that transports us to a night party. Two prominent figures who reveal his fears, his ego, experiencing meetings and misunderstandings by means of the game of the seduction and the fight of power.
Guateque represents “what might occur and did not occur or “what might be and it finally does happen”.
Guateque gets excited and does to thrill moving to an atmosphere of reflection.
