Bio

Brian Curran – Making Acoustic Punk a Threat Again

Brian Curran is a Singer Songwriter who has roots in the DIY hardcore/punk bands for over 2 decades (Quarantine, Disaffect, Ruin, Debris and a few more). He has been playing his own style of raw acoustic punk for the past 2 years, as well as adding a few Quarantine songs to the set.

He has played numerous gigs in the UK and the Continent, as well as the Perthshire Amber Music Fest on the Open Mic Event. He usually books his own gigs, but is always on the look out to play, be it small or big or near and far.

His debut LP was released in July 2013 and in September 2013 he also undertook a 2nd European tour.

2014 saw the release of Parts 1 and 2 of the “Triads of Impairment Trilogy”. This trilogy of EPs are benefits for Scottish Autism and are available via Bandcamp or by making a donation at https://www.justgiving.com/Brian-Curran2/.
