Bio

The Shady 80s are an up-and-coming live hip hop band from the depths of Manchester. With a love of all things funky, The Shady 80s have been rocking stages and dance floors since 2013, gaining a reputation for their high energy live shows, hard beats and loud noises.

With a range of influences as diverse as James Brown’s dance moves, the band’s eclectic sound has been compared to a variety of artists, including Incubus, Rage Against The Machine, The Roots, Common, Radiohead, Rusko and many more.

They are currently working on a 5-track EP, *Merchants Of Menace*, due for release later this year.
