Bio
Snowblind are a three piece band from Dublin, Ireland. Their music combines elements of progressive, thrash and classic metal. Driven by musicianship and and a love of their craft the band journey into many different styles and forms, striving to go against the grain of modern heavy music as we know it.
Formed in early 2012 by guitarist Sean Boland and drummer Jake McCarthy, the pair recruited Ian Mckeon on bass and vocals to complete the formidable power trio formation.
Since then the band have released an E.P titled ‘Existence Is Futile’ and a double sided single called ‘Split Of Oak’. Both releases have circulated throughout the Irish music scene and beyond and have received very positive comment and reviews.
Fresh from their set at Bloodstock Festival last summer, Snowblind are currently writing their first full length album with the hope of an early 2016 release.
